Holiday Chic with Peachfully Chic

When it comes to throwing a party, Allie gets an 'A!' Walking into the Winter Wonderland filled with a gorgeous table scape, festive florals, and a decadent dessert table that made me feel like a kid in a candy store, the atmosphere was perfection. All the festivities went down at Dantanna's Buckhead in their private dining room. Such a perfect space for our intimate gathering!

And can we talk about the floral arrangements for un momento?! I mean, gorg. Gold & Bloom Floral Design did an amazing job. I secretly (not anymore) wanted to take them all home with me. Will definitely keep them in mind for future parties, gifts or "just because" flowers!

As we all oohed and aahed, it was time to get down to business. I take my food seriously, so when it's time to eat, it's time to eat! Dantanna's provided each place setting with a personal menu for the evening. Such a nice touch!

Starter
Appetizer Sampler Plate:
Cajun Chicken Egg Roll- creole mustard sauce
Sesame Steak Skewers- chili, noodles, soy-ginger aioli
Charred Okra- lemon, parmesan

Salad Course (Served family style)
Organic Quinoa Salad- edamame, red peppers, dry cherries, goat cheese, shallots, spring mix, balsamic dressing
Spinach Salad- baby spinach, tomatoes, red onion, mandarin oranges, caramelized almonds, blue cheese, champagne-lime dressing
Kale Salad- chopped tomatoes, carrots, granny smith apples, chopped pecans, blue cheese, herb vinaigrette Crab & Berry Salad- organic greens, seasonal berries, tropical fruit, tomatoes, raspberry vinaigrette

Entrée (Served family style)
Creekstone Farms Porterhouse- house signature rub, char-grilled, herb compound butter
Maine Lobster Tail Medallions- drawn butter, citrus-caper cocktail sauce
Wasabi Tuna- panko crusted ahi, pan seared, shiitake-soy glaze, lump crab

I love a good salad more than anything, especially a kale salad. Dantanna's did not disappoint, from their Quinoa Salad to their Kale Salad, they all hit the spot! If you go during lunch, I recommend adding a protein to it.

After a few starters and their delicious salads, it was time for the "maine" event! Holy cow (literally). Their Porterhouse is unreal. With a house signature rub, char-grilled and herb compound butter -- it melts in your mouth. In order to keep my meal balanced, I added Asparagus and Bacon Mac N' Cheese to my plate!

After polishing off the Bacon Mac N' Cheese, I took my talents to the dessert table! The Sweet Trend put together an amazing spread of goodies for us to enjoy. How "sweet" of them!

The cherry on top of the whole evening were the gifts we got to take home with us! Thank you so much to all the companies for creating such a special evening for the ladies and I. This is sure to be a Holiday Party + White Elephant I will not soon forget!

It's been such a whirlwind year, and I'm so grateful for all the amazing women I've met through the "blog world!" They are selfless, hard working, talented, strong, beautiful and inspiring. Here's to many more fabulous events in the new year!

Hope y'all have a Merry Christmas! I am taking the rest of 2016 to spend quality time with my Texas family, as we travel to Missouri. See y'all next year (first time you've heard that, right?)!

Xo,
Kel
