Living La Dolce Vita at Dolce Italian

Capturing the hospitable charm of the Italian dining culture, Dolce Italian introduces la dolce vita to Atlanta with its fresh take on classics ranging from handcrafted pastas, to indulgent seafood risotto, meatballs over creamy polenta, and a selection of specialty Neapolitan-style pizzas. Located in Buckhead Atlanta, the opening of Dolce, on Friday, September 18, comes on the heels of winning Bravo’s 2015 culinary competition, Best New Restaurant, hosted by Tom Colicchio.


Under the leadership of Local Managing Partner, David Abes, Executive Chef Paolo Dorigato brings to Dolce’s Atlanta, Miami and Chicago locations a culinary passion inspired by his upbringing in Trentino, Italy. Dorigato joined LDV Hospitality in 2012 after stints at legendary Cipriani Wall Street and Michelin-starred Le Cirque. Dorigato expresses Italian cuisine in its purest form with his simple yet bold, authentic and seasonal menus.

I had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening last week, and boy does LDV know how to throw a party! From the moment you enter Dolce, you can feel the richness of the atmosphere. During the Opening soiree, we were treated to an open bar with signature cocktails & endless bites from their flavorful menu!

Throughout the evening, there was lots of mingling and eating. Always enjoy catching up with my girls, Erica and Allie. It's been such a great experience working with LDV on our #GIRLTALKSERIES and now supporting them at their opening of Dolce! Looking forward to American Cut later this year.


Open for dinner nightly (I've been three times in less than a week #ItsThatGood) with plans to serve lunch in the coming weeks, Dolce will transport guests back in time to the elegance and ease of Fellini’s 1960s Rome. The bright, energetic 150-seat dining room is surrounded by a collection of mid-century modern furniture and art, creating the ultimate communal and convivial dining culture that Buckhead Atlanta is known for. An expansive 50-seat wrap-around outdoor terrace overlooks the luxurious Buckhead Atlanta shops and is ideal for al fresco dining, perfect for enjoying the seasonally focused menu or lingering over our signature Aperol Spritz.

The award-winning restaurant is the second of three LDV Hospitality concepts to open in Atlanta, following Corso which opened in December 2014 and leading American Cut slated to open November 2015.
