Holiday Chic with Peachfully Chic

When it comes to throwing a party, Allie gets an 'A!' Walking into the Winter Wonderland filled with a gorgeous table scape, festive florals, and a decadent dessert table that made me feel like a kid in a candy store, the atmosphere was perfection. All the festivities went down at Dantanna's Buckhead in their private dining room. Such a perfect space for our intimate gathering!

And can we talk about the floral arrangements for un momento?! I mean, gorg. Gold & Bloom Floral Design did an amazing job. I secretly (not anymore) wanted to take them all home with me. Will definitely keep them in mind for future parties, gifts or "just because" flowers!

As we all oohed and aahed, it was time to get down to business. I take my food seriously, so when it's time to eat, it's time to eat! Dantanna's provided each place setting with a personal menu for the evening. Such a nice touch!

Starter
Appetizer Sampler Plate:
Cajun Chicken Egg Roll- creole mustard sauce
Sesame Steak Skewers- chili, noodles, soy-ginger aioli
Charred Okra- lemon, parmesan

Salad Course (Served family style)
Organic Quinoa Salad- edamame, red peppers, dry cherries, goat cheese, shallots, spring mix, balsamic dressing
Spinach Salad- baby spinach, tomatoes, red onion, mandarin oranges, caramelized almonds, blue cheese, champagne-lime dressing
Kale Salad- chopped tomatoes, carrots, granny smith apples, chopped pecans, blue cheese, herb vinaigrette Crab & Berry Salad- organic greens, seasonal berries, tropical fruit, tomatoes, raspberry vinaigrette

Entrée (Served family style)
Creekstone Farms Porterhouse- house signature rub, char-grilled, herb compound butter
Maine Lobster Tail Medallions- drawn butter, citrus-caper cocktail sauce
Wasabi Tuna- panko crusted ahi, pan seared, shiitake-soy glaze, lump crab

I love a good salad more than anything, especially a kale salad. Dantanna's did not disappoint, from their Quinoa Salad to their Kale Salad, they all hit the spot! If you go during lunch, I recommend adding a protein to it.

After a few starters and their delicious salads, it was time for the "maine" event! Holy cow (literally). Their Porterhouse is unreal. With a house signature rub, char-grilled and herb compound butter -- it melts in your mouth. In order to keep my meal balanced, I added Asparagus and Bacon Mac N' Cheese to my plate!

After polishing off the Bacon Mac N' Cheese, I took my talents to the dessert table! The Sweet Trend put together an amazing spread of goodies for us to enjoy. How "sweet" of them!

The cherry on top of the whole evening were the gifts we got to take home with us! Thank you so much to all the companies for creating such a special evening for the ladies and I. This is sure to be a Holiday Party + White Elephant I will not soon forget!

It's been such a whirlwind year, and I'm so grateful for all the amazing women I've met through the "blog world!" They are selfless, hard working, talented, strong, beautiful and inspiring. Here's to many more fabulous events in the new year!

Hope y'all have a Merry Christmas! I am taking the rest of 2016 to spend quality time with my Texas family, as we travel to Missouri. See y'all next year (first time you've heard that, right?)!

What They Carry Ft. Fashion to a T's Tierney Didier

Hi! I am so excited to be apart of this week’s edition of “What They Carry”. Before we dive (literally, you could dive, swim around, and maybe even find some coral in my bag) into my bag, I would like to introduce myself!

I am a Florida girl who has lived in Georgia for about 8 years. Besides family and friends, my two main loves are fashion and dining out. Last April, I decided to start my blog, Fashion to a T and share my love for fashion. I quickly found that with blogging comes events and mingling with like-minded women. During a blogger event, I met Kelly. Her and I instantly clicked and have had Rosé dates ever since. You know you have found a friend when the type of wine isn't a part of the conversation but the brand of the wine is.

Now for the good stuff! My go to everyday bag is my Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM and although it is titled Neverfull, mine is always full...Louis has met his match. I guess I like to be prepared.

I am sharing with you my staples and favorites that I cannot live without. I hope you enjoy!

  • Giorgio Armani Lip Stain: Not only is this the perfect red but it is long-lasting. Since it is so glossy it can be worn day or night. Come Spring I will definitely invest in a pink shade.
  • Neiman Marcus Mirror: How cute is this leopard print compact mirror? I love that it is light weight and small enough to throw into an evening clutch.
  • Cuyana Pouch: This pouch is actually part of a set. The one pictured is the smallest of the set. It is the perfect size to throw bobby pins, ear buds, hand sanitizer, and other odds and ends that I don't want accumulating at the bottom of my bag. I also love the bigger size. It is perfect for traveling and it fits all of my makeup.
  • Adrienne Landau Pom: I recently added this pom to my bag and felt like it gave it a facelift. This pom comes in so many colors, I had to go with the Marsala color because it is the color of the year and my latest obsession. Come Spring, I may switch it up and add a bright color.
  • Macaron Pill Box: My weakness is sweets! And since my multivitamins are gummies, this macaron box made for the perfect vessel.
  • Chanel Sunglasses (similar): My most favorite sunglasses in the world! They are the perfect cat eye and can be worn anywhere from a game day to a cocktail party. I will cry if I lose them. Which actually already happened but I found them...Yep, I cried in Bloomingdale's because I thought I lost them one evening.
  • Clare Vivier Tassel Keychain: Love, love, love anything with a tassel. This Clare V keychain comes in so many fun colors too. I went with the gold because I have a lot pinks going on in my bag so I thought this would be the perfect piece to compliment my staples.
  • Wine Wipes: I love red wine! What I don't love is red teeth. Problem solved with these amazing wine wipes. The genius that invented these was so smart that they put a mirror on the back...Win, win!
  • Sniff Tissues: I don't know why I can't pay for things with these??
  • YSL Concealer: If I was stranded on an island with only one piece of makeup, I would want it to be this concealer stick. It is has the perfect amount of coverage and is long-lasting. For a night out on the town, I put it almost all over my face.
  • YSL Lip Tint: This tint oil is so amazing. It is so hydrating and even after the glossiness wears off the color remains on your lips. I don't leave the house without it in my bag.
  • Butter London Topcoat: If my nails are not done, I feel naked. My little trick for getting my mani's to last longer is to apply this topcoat every couple of days.

Thank you again, Kelly for having me!

A "WellKept" Secret

Clean house equals a clear mind in my book. For those that haven't been to my house before, it's usually always "clean." I'm slightly extremely OCD (something I get from my mama), but when it comes to deep cleaning my place, that never hardly ever happens.

When I heard about WellKept, I knew immediately I had to book my appointment! Atlanta residents in select areas can now book á la carte home cleaning services by the click of a button. Gone are the days of hiring a cleaner word of mouth or "borrowing" your Mom's cleaning lady. The cherries on top of their efficient appointment process are no minimum requirements, long-term commitments or paying for unwanted services! But let me tell you, it's hard to turn down any one of their amazing services. Not only can you just have a single room cleaned, but you can also add on á la carte services, such as: kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, your oven and fridge! Say good bye to spring cleaning and hello to WellKept!

After booking my appointment early last week, I could hardly stand the arrival of Saturday! To me, it's hard to beat the weekend, but a weekend + a clean house #winning

On Saturday, the WellKept crew arrived 10 minutes early and armed with cleaning supplies! I live in a 3-story town home (2 bedrooms + 2.5 baths). I added the fridge on as one of my "bonuses," because sometimes your fridge just needs some TLC. Within 2 hours, my house was squeaky clean and I was feeling refreshed! It's amazing what a good scrub and dusting can do to your place!

Now that you have heard me rave about my experience with them, it's time to book your appointment today! Whole-home cleanings start at just $60! Having a dinner party and just want your kitchen, dining room and bathroom cleaned? Simply confirm what you want cleaned and when. Done and done. Every cleaning is backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee for all cleanings. To further delight customers us, other home services, such as lawn care, pool cleaning and pest control, will be added to WellKept’s service offerings in the future. I mean, I've hit the cleaning jackpot with this company!

In addition to convenient scheduling via their mobile-friendly website,WellKept will soon launch a mobile app for Android and iOS. For more information, follow WellKept on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

What They Carry ft. Edit by Lauren's Lauren Lefevre

I know they say you can tell a lot about a person by how they carry themselves. Well, I say you can tell a lot about a lady by what she carries in her purse! This week on "What They Carry," Lauren takes us into her pebble leather handbag!

Lauren Lefevre is an Atlanta-native and UGA grad, and a fashion/lifestyle blogger at Edit by Lauren. She's a wardrobe stylist and the owner of Edit Wardrobe Styling, based out of Atlanta, Austin and Nashville. Lauren's most important role is mother to 5-year-old boy/girl twins, Jack and Lily. Lauren and I met at an Atlanta-blogger event, while eating our weight in food at The Avalon!

  • My Gigi New York monogrammed satchel is my go-to bag this season. It dresses up and down and the shoulder strap makes it perfect for running around town styling clients and with my kids in tow.
  • I am a lipstick/lip gloss hoarder, and always have multiple tubes in my bag. My current favorites are NYX Butter Gloss in Tres Leches {the perfect nude} and MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo {the prettiest holiday red}.
  • Of course my phone goes with my everywhere, and I love swapping out Sonix cases seasonally.
  • I feel naked without a great pair of sunnies. This over sized Prada cat eye pair is a current fave. They add "instant glam" to every outfit!
  • Orbit gum is my favorite, and I am currently loving the new Citrus Remix flavor
  • I try to always keep my business cards on hand, and my Gigi New York zippered case is perfect for keeping them in one place!
  • I carry IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores with me everywhere! It is magical for keeping a flawless, shine-free face all day.
  • In addition to lip gloss and powder, I believe touching up mascara is the quickest way to keeping your makeup looking perfect all day. Too Faced "Better than Sex" mascara is the BEST!
  • During the winter months, I have an obsession with good hand-cream to prevent dry, cracking hands. This little tube of L'Occitane is powerful stuff and the perfect size to carry around.

Loved having Lauren on the blog this week! Be sure to check her blog out  & book her STAT for a personal styling session. I mean, her style is always on point!

What They Carry ft.Turquoise & Teale's Ashley Greenwell

Hi! My name is Ashley and I’m the blogger behind Turquoise and Teale, a southern lifestyle + fashion blog. I live in Atlanta with my husband Brian and our golden doodle puppy Oliver! Kelly and I have a large group of mutual friends and became friends via social media first (so 2015, right?). It was a recent media event that brought our tall spirited selves together and she was someone I instantly connected with. I love seeing what other 'must haves’ girls carry in their bags, so this is a series I’m excited to be a part of!

I switch out bags pretty regularly, but have been carrying my Louis Vuitton Speedy the past few weeks. Here’s a glimpse into the staples that I always carry with me:

  • Honest Company Sanitizer: With all the germs and sickness floating around this time of year (and really all year!), I amp up anti-bac usage. I love this one from the Honest Company since it doesn’t have a strong smell and doesn’t have any harsh chemicals in it.
  • Listerine Strips: Am I the only person besides my dad that still uses these? These strips are great to pop in before a meeting. They dissolve in seconds and leave you with the freshest breath!
  • Jewelry: I always seem to have some bracelet, watch, jewelry piece in my bags. Right now I can’t get enough of these Melinda Maria rings!
  • Kind Bars: It’s no secret that I’m a huge Kind bar fan. I always keep these with me when I travel or in-between appointments when I need a filling but healthy snack.
  • Iphone: Mine is constantly with me. I love this marble case that I currently have on it!
  • EOS Lip Balm: My lips get so dry during the cold weather and I always have a little EOS ball with me! They’re the best.
  • Lip Gloss/Sticks: I like a little color but nothing crazy for my day to day options. I love either of these alone or layered together. Nars Turkish Delight + Too Faced Naked Dolly
  • Sunglasses: There are normally 1-2 pairs with me at all times. These Celine ones aren’t heavy on the face and I’m sucker for a great tortoise design.
  • Monogrammed Pouch: Toss Designs makes the cutest little personalized bags. This one stores my lip favorites and any small loose ends.
  • Wallet: The essential one, right? I’ve had this Tory Burch one for years and not only does it still look brand new but it holds everything I need!

Thank you to my lovely friend for showing off her gorg bag and daily essentials! Looking forward to having more ladies show you all what they need to power through the day! If you interested in being apart of this fun series, please send me an e-mail OR leave a comment on this post!

Also, I'm on Bloglovin, so follow your girl here Follow my blog with Bloglovin. Hope y'all have a fabulous weekend!

Print Perfection | Roberta Roller Rabbit

Roberta Roller Rabbit has officially moved into the Westside Provisions neighborhood! I recently attended the Grand Opening of the Atlanta flagship store and was blown away with all the pretty prints and beautiful baubles they have to offer! During the private cocktail and shopping soiree that benefited The Atlanta Opera, myself and other attendees sipped on bubbly and signature cocktails from Cathead Vodka! Their signature cocktail of the evening was refreshing Lemonade concoction (Cathead Vodka, triple sec, splash of lemon juice & mint)! We also nibbled on delicious bites from neighboring restaurant JCT. Kitchen & Bar. The beautiful store features travel-inspired leisurewear, accessories and home goods with a magical touch.

The coveted brand’s founder Roberta Freymann flew in for the occasion and socialized with us as she walked shoppers through the collection. Inspired by a children’s fable of a magical rabbit that Roberta found on a piece of fabric during her time in India, Roberta Roller Rabbit’s first Georgia location is a 1,400-square foot store that features windows on all sides and hand-drawn stencil art by renowned artists Lisa Wassong and Dominique Lange. Their work, which is ethnically inspired and whimsical, is present in all Roberta Roller Rabbit stores.

Like at all its locations, the Atlanta store offers a range of hand block printed pieces created and produced by Roberta with artisans in India. Graphic and floral prints are named after characters in Roberta’s life. Other wildly popular prints include monkeys, elephants and fish, which capture Roberta’s love for children and complete the signature whimsical spirit that has become synonymous to the brand.

As I made my way around the vibrant store, this top caught my eye! It may or may not currently be hanging in my closet! Such a great classic and was the perfect top for my Thanksgiving beach trip (and it's #TallGirl approved)!

After mixing and mingling with a few of my favorite ladies, I made my way out the door. But never fear, my list is long for Santa and I am already planning to do a bit of holiday gift buying for my friends at RRR!

Roberta Roller Rabbit’s Atlanta store is located at 1198 Howell Mill Road, Building B, Suite 400 and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. To see all the beautiful things Roberta Roller Rabbit has to offer, head over to their site ASAP! And be sure to stay connected with them on  their social media channels Instagram & Facebook.

Thankful for my Friends (giving)

Eat, drink & be merry! That's my motto any time I get together with some of my closest friends. And last weekend was no exception. My dear friend, Erica (of Eating with Erica), hosted a holiday chic Friendsgiving at Einstein's!

I knew when I received the invite, that I had to bring my A-game! Rent the Runway always comes through and with all their options for this time of year, it was hard to choose. But I settled on this lovely Slate & Willow number. Perfection. As with any event (especially one that Erica is throwing), you know we had the #GlamSquad in full effect. Once hair and make-up was complete, it was time to make our "fashionably late" entrance at Einstein's!

Einstein's, located in the heart of Midtown, could not have been a more perfect venue for Erica's Friendsgiving. Upon our arrival we had mini bottles of champagne waiting for us! If you know Erica, it's the attention to detail and her love of life, that make everyone feel welcome. As we mixed and mingled, we were asked to find our seats as the evening of fellowship and food (mainly, food) was about to commence.

As we all nestled into our private room and found our seats, the procession of food begun to file out. To start, we were all served family style plates of tempura green beans with sriracha aioli, seared scallops with butternut spaghetti squash, crispy prosciutto, and red wine reduction, and a mushroom & brie flatbread with roasted garlic, house-pickled peppers, and arugula. If you follow me on Insta and/or Snapchat, you know about my love (er, obsession) with sriracha. Plus, anything fried is fine by me!

With each course served the ever gracious Goza Tequila, paired a craft cocktail with our scrumptious plates. I love tequila, so I was thrilled to have Goza have a hand in the evening! All apart of the "drink & be merry" mentality!

As we dove into our entree, I could hardly contain my excitement. Food tends to do that to me! Another blogger bestie of mine, Tierney (of Fashion to a T), and I opted to split each of our entrees. After all, sharing is caring! We went with the Coulotte steak over mushroom risotto, sautéed baby bok choy, au poivre and chipotle salmon with adobo mashed sweet potatoes, roasted corn salsa, and crispy avocado. I can officially say I can die a happy woman after indulging in both dishes. The mushroom risotto was out of this world! So creamy and the mushroom were cooked to perfection. I also loved the salmon dish! The crispy avocado and adobo mashed sweet potatoes complimented the chipotle flavoring nicely.

For the grand finale aka dessert aka my favorite part of any meal, Einstein's sent a couple of their favorites for us to try! Chocolate mousse cake with fresh raspberry sauce, chocolate ganache, strawberries, whipped cream and Griddled peach pound cake with vanilla ice cream, candied pecans, bourbon caramel. That peach pound cake was incredible! Such a "sweet" way to cap off such a enjoyable evening!

Erica did have one more trick up her sleeve (not literally, since she was looking like a Grecian goddess in her festive maxi gown), as we each departed she handed us a stocked swag bag! Have I mentioned she knows a thing or two about throwing an event?! From a Spa Sydell gift certificate to the most gorgeous tea set, I will putting all of my goodies to use this holiday season!

Thank you again to Erica for hosting a lovely Friendsgiving that I will remember for years to come! And thank you to all of the official sponsors for making it happen -- Einsteins, Spa Sydell , Goza Tequila, Cooks Warehouse, Woodbridge Wine, and Peters Brew!

Kel

What They Carry ft. Darling Down South's Cynthia Davis

I know they say you can tell a lot about a person by how they carry themselves. Well, I say you can tell a lot about a lady by what she carries in her purse! Happy to announce the launching of a new series called "What They Carry," spotlighting bloggers that I adore and taking you a step closer to what's in their bag! With that, I'll let Cynthia take it away!

Hey, y'all! My name is Cynthia and I blog over at Darling Down South! I met Kelly at an event in Atlanta, and seeing as we're both taller than your average girl, we bonded instantly on how hard it is to find long inseam jeans and other #tallgirlprobs like always being asked if we played basketball... I'm so honored to be a part of this fun series! While the picture's you see on this post are very clean and organized, don't let that fool you. There are also about 400 receipts for coffee (cappuccino's mainly), restaurants and parking receipts exploding out of every pocket at any given time in my purse. My purse tends to vary with the outfit I'm wearing. Lately I've been loving my Barrington Gift's St. Anne tote in black and white herringbone but I also love my Large Longchamp in black for fall because its a timeless classic!

I try my best to be as minimalistic as possible with the items that go in my handbag. Here are some of my daily essentials!

  • Camera - I carry my camera with me wherever I go in case I get inspired for last minute blog posts or just for a random one-off practice during my lunch break.
  • Notebook - I like to carry around a little notebook with me to jot down ideas, plan future content and series on my blog.
  • Matchbooks - I have a hobby of collecting matchbooks from restaurants that I've eaten at so you can typically find a couple of matchbooks lingering in my purse at any given time.
  • Snack - I'm almost always verging on #hangry throughout the day and I love to snack, so I try to keep something healthy-ish and satisfying on me. I love these chocolate batons from Trader Joes! The raspberry dark chocolate one is really excellent and I'm excited to try the espresso dark chocolate one next.
  • Business cards - I always have business cards on me because you never know who you're going to meet throughout the day that might be a good connection.
  • Dior Lip Glow Reviver - For a quick lip refresh I carry the Dior Lip Glow Reviver in Sheer Pink.
  • Sunglasses - A year ago, I found out that I have Pinguecula on my eyes so it's extremely important for me to wear sunglasses every day to minimize irritation from increased sun/ wind exposure.
  • Pinch Provisions mini-mergency pouch - Finally, I love toting around my Pinch Provisions mini-mergency pouch because it has everything I'd need in case of emergency: Advil, fingernail polish remover, emory board, breath spray, hair ties, etc.

Hope you've learned a little something about me snooping through my purse! You can learn a lot more by following along on Darling Down South where I try to post every day about fun things going on in Atlanta, restaurants, style and travel!

SculptHouse Exclusive with Katherine Mason

Last week I gave you the 411 on the 'Fit for Fall' event SculptHouse put on. Such a fun intro to what Atlantans can expect with SculptHouse! As promised, here is part deux of my interview with the beautiful girl boss Katherine Mason!

For those that are unfamiliar with SculptHouse, what kind of workout can they expect?

SculptHouse is set up in a class format, with a maximum of 11 participants, you’ll always get individual attention from an instructor who’s dedicated to helping you sculpt a powerful physique. You may also find yourself building strong relationships with your fellow workout members that drive you to reach the next level. Sessions are 50-minutes of maximum result, low-impact workouts that shred calories – not joints. Our classes are ideal for men and women at all fitness levels who are looking for a uniquely effective workout. We have two class formats, CardioSculpt, our signature class, and StrengthSculpt, which is formatted in the standard Lagree Fitness method.

CardioSculpt: Craving a little extra cardio? Incorporate heart-pumping running intervals with NFL-endorsed Woodway® Curve treadmills with resistance training on the Megaformer. No buttons or motors – completely powered by human motion – the Woodway Curve is unlike any other treadmill you’ve ever used. Control your pace with the patented curved running surface and nearly frictionless slat belt system, a combination that engages more muscle groups – and burns 30% more calories – than motorized treadmills. Twenty-five minutes of strength and conditioning on the Megaformer, twenty-five minutes of cardio on the Curve.

StrengthSculpt: Get long, lean muscles with Megaformer™ stability training. Utilizing a spring system that allows for a full range of motion with resistance and counter-resistance, the Megaformer targets every inch of your body with slow and controlled movements that strengthen and lengthen muscles. And you power every movement. Jumpstart your metabolism, increase your flexibility and improve your posture with the Megaformer – all with very little stress on your joints. Fifty minutes of strength and conditioning on the Megaformer.

I noticed you all have tons of fitness apparel, some I've never heard of. What sets SH apart from the other studios that carry fitness apparel?

Yes! What makes SculptHouse so unique is that it is both a fitness studio and an activewear boutique. We will have about 1,000 sq ft of retail space so we legitimately have a full-scale boutique in addition to our studio. When I was living in NYC I was introduced to lots of athleisure brands through my fitness modeling career. I became completely obsessed with the fitness fashion industry and wondered why it wasn't better represented in the Southeast. This, along with the Megaformer/Woodway combination, is how SculptHouse was born. One day I had an ah-ha moment where I thought 'Why is nobody combining the Megaformer with a HIIT treadmill workout? Why are there no activewear boutiques in the Southeast?

I wanted to create something different from all the big-box players that are already out there. SculptHouse hopes to provide a New York-level fitness studio and boutique to an area that is craving something new. Atlanta has been ready for something like SculptHouse and I wanted to be the person who brought it!

Katherine Mason is the brains and the style behind the transformative SculptHouse studio. As a lifelong athlete and former Wilhelmina fitness model, she has both the passion and expertise to help others build better bodies through the Lagree Fitness Method.

Katherine has worked at some of New York City’s most prominent luxury fitness studios, and has represented many global brands – Nike, Under Armour, Reebok and Adidas to name a few – and was named by Shape Magazine as one of the “50 Hottest Female Trainers in America.” You also may have seen her in many fashion and fitness publications, too: Fitness, Women’s Health, Runners World and Vogue.

Her experience in the fitness fashion arena gives her a unique insight into the trends, functionality and sizing of activewear. She hasn’t just modeled the latest looks; she’s worked out in them! Katherine’s eye for detail shapes the selection at SculptHouse where you’ll find only the hottest athleisure brands.

Katherine is confident that SculptHouse is the workout experience you’ve been looking for to catapult your fitness routine to the next level – no matter where you’re starting! She’s thrilled to return to her southern roots (she’s a proud graduate of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications) and share this game-changing opportunity with the Atlanta community.

Stay tuned for updates on SculptHouse and when you can expect for the studio to open its doors!
